De Steel DUO PLUS is gemaakt voor thuisbarista’s die geen concessies willen doen. Niet in design en niet in interieur. Deze machine combineert een industrieel design met slimme techniek, waardoor je moeiteloos espresso zet en melk schuimt, tegelijk. Dankzij de twee aparte thermoblocks staat de machine super snel klaar en blijft de temperatuur stabiel, zelfs bij intensief gebruik.
In plaats van een klassieke boiler gebruikt Ascaso een roestvrijstaal thermoblock-systeem. Dat betekent: een duidelijk lager energieverbruik, sneller opwarmen en altijd vers water bij elke zetbeurt. De keuze voor roestvrijstaal maakt de DUO PLUS bovendien bijzonder ongevoelig voor kalkaanslag, wat de levensduur flink verlengt.
De machine is heeft twee afzonderlijke vibratiepompen: een voor koffie en een voor stoom. Dit zorgt voor een gecontroleerde drukopbouw en geeft je maximale grip op zowel je extractie als je melkschuim. Jij bepaalt het tempo, de machine volgt.
Stomen activeer je via de stoomknop en daarna gemakkelijk te bedienen met de luxe stoomhendel. Bij de machine krijg je een 1-gats stoomtip voor maximale controle en een 3-gats stoomtip voor sneller en krachtiger stomen. Het cooltouch stoompijpje is veilig vast te pakken en is ideaal voor het maken van fijne microfoam.
Elke Steel DUO PLUS wordt met de hand gebouwd in Barcelona en uitgebreid getest voordat die de fabriek verlaat. De Steel DUO PLUS wordt standaard geleverd met een uitgebreider accessoirepakket, waaronder een naked portafilter, meerdere filterbakjes en twee verwisselbare stoomtips (1-gat en 3-gat). Daarnaast heeft de PLUS-variant een ergonomische stoomhendel, terwijl de DUO PID werkt met een traditionele draaiknop.
