The Steel DUO PLUS is designed for home baristas who don't want to compromise. Not in design, not in interior. This machine combines industrial design with smart technology, allowing you to effortlessly brew espresso and steam milk simultaneously. Thanks to its two separate thermoblocks, the machine is ready in no time and maintains a stable temperature, even with heavy use.
Instead of a traditional boiler, Ascaso uses a stainless steel thermoblock system. This means significantly lower energy consumption, faster heat-up, and always fresh water with every brew. The choice of stainless steel also makes the DUO PLUS exceptionally resistant to limescale, significantly extending its lifespan.
The machine has two separate vibration pumps: one for coffee and one for steam. This ensures controlled pressure buildup and gives you maximum control over both your extraction and milk froth. You set the pace, and the machine follows.
Steam is activated with the steam button and then easily controlled with the luxurious steam lever. The machine comes with a single-hole steam nozzle for maximum control and a three-hole nozzle for faster, more powerful steaming. The cool-touch steam wand is safe to grip and ideal for creating fine microfoam.
Every Steel DUO PLUS is hand-built in Barcelona and extensively tested before leaving the factory. The Steel DUO PLUS comes standard with a more comprehensive accessory package, including a naked portafilter, multiple filter baskets, and two interchangeable steam tips (1-hole and 3-hole). The PLUS version also features an ergonomic steam lever, while the DUO PID uses a traditional rotary knob.
