Are you looking for a machine full of smart features with the power and convenience of a dual boiler? Then the Profitec MOVE 2.0 is perfect for you. Profitec's first 'smart' machine is packed with features that make brewing espresso easier.
The dual boiler with Fast Heat Up Mode ensures the machine reaches temperature quickly. Thanks to the saturated group head, the temperature remains stable during brewing. The MOVE 2.0 is more compact than the MOVE but does not compromise on power.
One of the biggest innovations is brew-by-weight. Connect the MOVE 2.0 to a suitable scale, and the machine can automatically stop your espresso based on the set weight. See the 'extra' tab below for suitable scales.
Via Bluetooth, you connect the MOVE 2.0 to the Profitec MCY app (Make Coffee Yours). There, you can, among other things, view your extraction profile in a convenient graph. This not only gives you your espresso in your cup but also more insight into what happens during extraction.
Meanwhile, the vibration pump quietly does its work, ensuring even extraction. With the barista lights, you can keep a close eye on the group head, while the pre-set buttons ensure your favorite settings are easily within reach.
The MOVE 2.0 is also a great machine for milk-based drinks. With the cold touch steam wand, you can quickly froth milk, and thanks to the dual boiler, you can simultaneously brew espresso and froth milk. The cleverly integrated hot water wand can be used for an Americano or tea in between.
In terms of design, the MOVE 2.0 is clearly a Profitec. A sleek, fully powder-coated frame. The joystick valves immediately provide full steam power and are also less prone to wear than traditional rotary knobs. The pre-set buttons are of high quality and water-resistant. Just as convenient.
And, of course, you get the most important accessories included: a tamper, filter baskets, and a naked portafilter.
In short: the MOVE 2.0 combines the familiar Profitec feel with a unique dose of technology. This gives you the freedom to decide how much you want to be involved with your cup of coffee. Sometimes with complete ease, sometimes with full experimentation.
