This is a serious espresso grinder with 64 mm hardened steel flat burrs, so serious that you'll find this grinder just as easily in a coffee bar as with a passionate home barista.
What truly makes the E64 WS special is its integrated Grind-by-Weight system. You pre-set how many grams of coffee you want, place your portafilter in the fork, and the grinder automatically starts grinding. As soon as the correct weight is reached, the grinder stops by itself and the screen turns green. The electronic grind adjustment allows for very precise small adjustments, enabling you to fine-tune much more accurately for taste and extraction.
The 64 mm flat burrs ensure an even grind with plenty of clarity and balance in your espresso. From modern light espressos to richer dark roasts: the E64 WS feels at home everywhere. Inside, a powerful 200W motor spins at a constant speed of 1950 rpm. Remarkably, the grinder remains very quiet, especially for a grinder of this size and caliber.
In terms of construction, you immediately see what Mahlkönig is known for. German quality, clean lines, and sturdy materials. The compact housing looks minimalistic without being clinical, and the display is fast and intuitive. An added bonus: through the Mahlköning sync-app, you can perform software updates and view your grinder's statistics.
