Thanks to its dual thermoblock and PID controller, you get a stable temperature for both coffee and steam. Ascaso deliberately chose thermoblock technology: it's energy-efficient, heats up incredibly quickly, and you always use fresh water. Moreover, thanks to its unique stainless steel piping system, the machine is virtually impervious to limescale. Quite unique!
The two vibration pumps activate when you tell them to, one for the coffee and one for the steam. Thanks to the even pressure buildup these separate vibration pumps provide, you'll get the most out of your extraction and steam every time.
Ascaso prioritizes quality over quantity. In their Barcelona factory, a team of 50 skilled craftspeople lovingly crafts the perfect espresso machine. Each machine is extensively tested and meticulously inspected. And the Steel DUO PID comes with a nice package: a stylish tamper, various filter baskets, and a sturdy filter holder.
The vibrating steam pump activates instantly with the press of a steam button. And the single-hole cold-touch steam wand gives you the precise control you need for perfect microfoam. While a thermoblock steams more slowly and is less powerful than a traditional boiler, this gives you, as a barista, the time to refine your technique.
